Dr Chen is a member and board certified specialist of the Taiwan Society of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, the Taiwan Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the Taiwan Rhinology Society. Currently, Dr Chen joins Beauty Line Aesthetic Clinic and works as a facial plastic surgeon in Taiwan.

Ming-Ying Lan

Dr Lan is the current President of Taiwan Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Society. She is also the Director of Taiwan Rhinology Society and the Executive Director of Taiwan Society for Skull Base Surgery. She is the current Chief of Rhinology Division at Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in Taipei Veterans General Hospital, and also the associate professor at School of Medicine in National Yang Ming University, Taiwan. Dr Lan received MD, PhD at National Yang Ming University, Taiwan. She has published 57 SCI papers and has more than 90 presentations at various domestic and international conferences and courses. She is the current Editor of the Journal of Taiwan Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.Dr.Lan hosts endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery courses, as well as rhinoplasty courses in Taiwan nearly every year for education and training of young ENT surgeons. 

Yi-Tsen Lin

Dr Yi-Tsen Lin is the faculty in the Department of Otolaryngology of National Taiwan University Hospital. She is the instructor for facial plastic surgery in her department. She actively participated in international conferences and courses in the field of rhinoplasty. Her main research interest is cartilage tissue engineering. Currently, she is the member of academic committee of Taiwan Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Mr Ullas Raghavan received his medical and postgraduate degree in ENT surgery from India. He became a fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Glasgow in 1999 and passed the exit examination in 2004.Mr Raghavan received higher surgical training at University Hospitals of Nottingham, Derby and Leicester. In 2005 he received full accreditation from the Specialist Advisory Committee in Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and was awarded his Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training by the Specialist Training Authority of the Medical Royal Colleges. He was awarded a Clinical Fellowship by the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery in 2005 and received advanced specialist training in Facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery from renowned centres in France, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands and the US.He passed the examination conducted by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as a European candidate and is a certified by the European Board of Facial Plastic Surgery and International Board of Facial Plastic Surgery.  He is a facial cosmetic surgeon certified by the Royal College of Surgeons.Mr Ullas Raghavan is an invited faculty and has given numerous presentations at national and international meetings on the topic of facial plastic surgery. He has published over 40 scientific papers and written book chapters on facial plastic surgery in reference books such as Scott Brown’s Text book of Otorhinolaryngology, Operative Head and Neck Surgery, Practical Otorhinolaryngology, Atlas of Otorhinolaryngology etc and lectured on various topics related to facial aesthetic and reconstructive surgery in various meeting nationally and internationally.  He is passionate about teaching these skills and runs Advanced Facial Plastic Surgery and Basic Facial Plastic Surgery courses in the UK and National Facial Plastic Course in India, and is a faculty of various national and international workshops and courses. He is the Facial Plastic Surgery Trainer for Commonwealth Scholarship Commission.In 2005, Mr Raghavan was appointed as a Consultant in Ear, Nose & Throat surgery with special interest in Rhinology and Facial Plastic Surgery in Doncaster and Bassettlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Graduate of King Edward medical college Lahore Pakistan. Trained mainly in Manchester UK. Did fellowship in Otolaryngology from Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. Worked as registrar in Stockport Royal infirmary for a couple of years and developed special interest in endoscopic sinus surgery and rhinoplasty. Started my carrier in Pakistan as  assistant professor in 1993. Worked in different medical colleges of Punjab and finally settled in Rawalpindi medical University from 2003 as professor and head of ENT department .During this period I got an opportunity to work with Smile train to provide free treatment to cleft lip and palate patients. My rhinoplasty journey with Pakistan started with close rhinoplasty. Most of the time  I was dealing with traumatic and badly deformed noses  and close technique was not working well for me so I switched to open rhinoplasty and gathered vast experience in this technique. I also got an opportunity to teach rhinoplasty to young upcoming surgeons and conducted 16 workshops in all the esteemed institutions of Pakistan. For last few years I have been using diced cartilage for augmentation and now has developed a technique to use diced cartilage with fibrin glue to enhance septal support both in septoplasty and rhinoplasty.

Muhammad Zia ul Islam

Dr Zia ul Islam is a consultant plastic surgeon in Aga khan Hospital is Karachi Pakistan.After early education in Habib Public School and D J Science College, at the age of 18, Dr. Zia ul Islam was accepted to the prestigious Army Medical College, Rawalpindi. He studied medicine for 5 years and graduated with Honors. On graduation he was commissioned in Pakistan Army as Captain. He worked in Army at different locations for 26 years. During this he underwent intense and extensive surgical training at CMH Rawalpindi. He obtained fellowships in General Surgery and later in Plastic Surgery from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan. Considering his surgical talents and dedication he was selected by the GHQ for specialized training in UK. During this overseas fellowship he worked in the plastic surgery department of the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, England. While in UK he also qualified the Joint Inter Collegiate Specialty Board exam and obtained the diploma of FRCS(Plast) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, London.He served in Pakistan Army for 26 years and in  2018 retired and joined Aga Khan Hospital.

Arfat Jawaid

Assistant Prof Dr Arfat Jawaid is an ENT consultant with a special interest in Rhinoplasty. He is a master-trainer of Rhinoplasty and has conducted many workshops. He has many Articles and a book to his credit. He is also the first president of recently founded Pakistan Rhinoplasty Society.

Dr Saadat Ullah is working in the field of Otolaryngology since the year 2000. He has worked as consultant ENT surgeon in many Govt hospitals both inside as well as outside Pakistan. Dr Babak Saedi works as an Otolaryngologist and Facial Plastic surgeon, he also serves as a Professor at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, he was named to Board of Certificate of Otolaryngology and he has been working in Field of Rhinology and Facial Plastic surgery for so many years. He received his facial plastic surgery fellowship from Staford University and he is the member of European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. He is the youngest full professor of department of otolaryngology of Tehran University. Also, He has published 66 articles in prestigious journals.

Amirarvin Sazgar

Dr Amir Arvin Sazgar is a Professor of the Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery department of Tehran University of Medical Sciences and accredited Facial Plastic Surgeon with more than twenty years experience in academic postgraduate teaching. Dr. Sazgar is a highly trained specialist in Facial plastic surgery of the head and neck practicing in Tehran. His training has included facial aesthetic surgery, complex reconstruction after head & neck cancer resection, and craniofacial trauma reconstruction. Dr Sazgar graduated with High Honors from Tehran University of Medical Sciences and He was among the top three participants in the National Board Examinations in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. He completed his sabbatical period (International fellowship) training in Facial Plastic Surgery with Professor Sam Most at Stanford University, California. He, as an otolaryngologist, has been the pioneer of formal education of the Facial Plastic Surgery in the country and has introduced and performed various new techniques in rhinoplasty for the first time in Iran. Dr Barış Çakır was born in Adana/Turkey in 1975. He went to Cukurova Electricity Anadolu Technical High School in 1993 before entry to the medical school. During technical school training, he worked for 4 years in "hand skills development workshops". For this reason, he planned to choose a surgical branch after graduating from the medical school.He began his residency program in Kartal Training and Research Hospital in 1999, as a Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery resident. He continued his work on micro-surgery which is one of the most difficult surgical branches, performing over 500 microsurgical operations during training. He studies fingertip injuries in children. During his studies, he developed a new "vascular suture technique"  and prepared a thesis on this subject. The technique was presented in the 2004 National Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Congress, and he won first prize in the contest in the experimental branch field."  He also won the first prize in the competition in clinical categories with his technique of muscle suturing in cleft lip repair. He became a Plastic Surgery specialist In December 2004. After expertise, with the aim to achieve more successful results in plastic surgery, he became interested in sculpture and art history. He studied Fine Art Sculpture in Suleyman Demirel University, and continued this education on the Fine Arts and sculpture in İnonu University, Malatya. He worked with Michael Esson regarding model and pattern studies. He worked in Istanbul Memorial Hospital between 2007-2010. He is working as a private surgeon in his office at Fulya Terrace since 2010. Rhinoplasty consists almost 90% of his surgical practice.  Barış Çakir is married and is the father of two children.

Nuri Celik

Nuri A. Celik completed his plastic surgery training in Istanbul University Hospitals in 1994. He was a plastic surgery fellow at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk from 1994 to 1995. He studied brachial plexus and facial nerve surgery as a microsurgery fellow at Baylor College of Medicine between 1995-1997. He did a one-year craniofacial surgery fellowship at Medical College of Wisconsin before he returned to Istanbul, Turkey to start his private practice. He lectures on rhinoplasty,  facial rejuvenation, blepharoplasty and canthoplasty internationally. He served as the President of the Turkish Society of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery from June 2016 to June 2018. He is married with two children.

Dr Abdülkadir GÖKSEL is board certified by the European  Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is the international member of American Academy of the Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery,  European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, European Rhinoplasty Society, Turkish Facial Plastic Surgery Foundation.  Dr Göksel was an International Invited Speaker in many International Congresses in Europe, Russia, Asia, Turkey. In 2001 he founded Rino Istanbul Rhinoplasty Center  in Istanbul. Mainly focused on rhinoplasty in the last 15 years. Although he is in private practice, Dr. Goksel is active in the teaching of rhinoplastic surgery at the national and international levels. During last nearly 10 years he personally trained young surgeons in the art and science of rhinoplasty surgery. Since 2005 Dr Goksel took part as a guest speaker, moderator more than in 40 professional events. Dr Goksel is a permanent chairman of the Istanbul Rhinoplasty Workshop.

Dr Emre İhan Dr Emre İlhan is graduated from Ege University Medical Faculty. Completed his residency in Bezm-i Alem Training and Research hospital in Istanbul.Dr. Ilhan has focused his interest only in rhinoplasty for 14 years,and have a private clinic in Istanbul-Turkey.He is a chief of a surgical team (the RhinoTeam) dedicated to Rhinoplasty and Revision Rhinoplasties. The Rhino Team perform about 400 Primary and Revision Rhinoplasties each year for over 10 years.And has a high satisfaction rate in between patients from all over the world. Dr Ilhan is one of the pioneers of piezo ultrasonic rhinoplasty in the world.He is working on adapting the piezo ultrasonic technology to modern rhinoplasty since 2014.He has performed over 1000 rhinoplasties with the piezo ultrasonic technology.He is also working on delicate instruments about ultrasonic rhinoplasty and patented 11 new designed surgical instruments.He has been lectured more than 50 international and national meetings about modern rhinoplasty techniques. He worked as a teacher in several cadaver dissection courses. He completed his residency in otorhinolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Sheba medical center between 2004 and 2010 followed by a fellowship in facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Prosper-Hospital in Germany, He returned to the Department of otorhinolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Sheba medical center in 2011 as facial plastic surgeon. Dr. Duvdevani is internationally recognized and has been appointed by the European Academy of facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS) to be a program director of a global fellowship for Facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. The founder of the Israeli society of facial and reconstructive surgery of the ENT Head and neck surgery association. His specialty in auricular and the middle ear reconstruction, complex facial reconstruction, and aesthetic facial surgery. Dr. Duvdevani have an extensive experience in primary and revision rhinoplasty. Dr. Duvdevani published scientific papers in peer-reviewed medical journals and presented his works at scientific conferences in Israel and around the world.

Dr Eyal Sela, Director of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery, joined Galilee Medical Center’s administration in 2013. As Head of the Ear, Nose, Throat, and Head and Neck (ENT) Student Program, Bar-Ilan University Faculty of Medicine in the Galilee, Dr Sela is leading the training of Israel’s newest ENT practitioners in the Galilee. Formerly a lecturer at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology Medical School in Haifa, Dr Sela was recognized for his excellence in teaching for three consecutive academic years as an outstanding lecturer at Bar-Ilan University and the Technion.   Dr Sela graduated medical school at the Technion in 1997 followed by a residency at the Carmel Medical Center in Haifa. Moreover, he completed a two year Fellowship in Head and Neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgery at Jewish General Hospital, McGill University, in Montreal, Canada during 2010 – 2012. Dr Sela has published numerous studies and presented at many national and international conferences. Dr Andres Gantous is an Associate Professor and Head of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto. His practice is focused on facial plastic surgery and head and neck surgery.  He has a particular interest in reconstructive rhinoplasty and incisionless otoplasty among other things in the great field of facial plastic surgery.

Jeffrey Marcus

Dr Jeffrey Marcus has been the Chair of the Operation Smile Resident Leadership Program for many years, following in the footsteps of Don Mackay.  He was born in Detroit, Michigan and attended undergraduate university and medical school at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.  He completed his plastic surgery residency at Northwestern University and subsequently did two fellowships at the Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto in Pediatric Plastic Surgery and Craniofacial Surgery.  He came to Duke University in 2002 and developed specialized programs in pediatric plastic surgery, cleft and craniofacial surgery, rhinoplasty, and facial paralysis surgery. Dr Marcus has a special interest in nasal surgery, and his practice in rhinoplasty covers nearly all aspects of functional, aesthetic, and congenital conditions.  He is a past-President of The Rhinoplasty Society and has led numerous national/international symposia through ASPS and ASAPS.   Duke University has a long history of treating children with clefts, and was one of the first multidisciplinary teams in the United States.  Dr Marcus expanded this team and recruited a world renowned Craniofacial Orthodontist, Dr Pedro Santiago.  Together and with the work of health service researcher and cleft surgeon Dr. Alexander Allori, they have established Duke as one of the leading centers for Cleft and Craniofacial care in the United States.  Dr Marcus has been involved with Operation Smile in a variety of contexts since 2001 and advocates for the involvement of academic surgical programs in global heath, emphasizing the importance of mutual educational exchange over clinical service alone.  

Sam Most

Sam P. Most, MD, FACS BiographyDr. Sam Most is Chief of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine, where he is also a Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Plastic Surgery (General).  He completed his undergraduate work with High Honors at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, followed by attending Stanford University School of Medicine, where he graduated with Dean’s Honors in Research.  He completed residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery as well as his fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle.  Following this he was appointed Chief of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the same institution.  He was recruited to lead the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford in 2006.  Dr. Most has chaired several national and international meetings, including Aging Face (San Diego) and Rhinoplasty (Chicago).  He has served two times on the AAFPRS Board most recently as Vice President of Research and Development.  He has won multiple awards from the AAFPRS, including the Ben Shuster and Mark Rafaty awards.  He is currently Vice President of The Rhinoplasty Society (USA).
