This Advanced FATE (Focused Assessed Transthoracic Echocardiography) Workshop is designed for clinicians seeking to refine their ultrasound skills in assessing cardiac function, valvular pathology, and haemodynamic status. The workshop features two specialised groups, each focusing on key aspects of advanced cardiac ultrasound:

Group 1: Left Heart & Lung Ultrasound

• Comprehensive assessment of left ventricular systolic function
• Evaluation of aortic and mitral valve pathology
• Lung ultrasound for haemodynamic assessment and pulmonary pathology

Group 2: Right Heart & Vascular Assessment

• Advanced evaluation of right ventricular function
• Assessment of the tricuspid valve and pulmonary hypertension indicators
• VExUS (Venous Excess Ultrasound) assessment for fluid status and congestion
